Istar: The mightiest empire Krynn has ever known.

The Kingpriests have reigned for centuries in the name of Paladine, the supreme god of good. But danger lurks in the empire’s heart. The Kingpriest has forseen his own death, and dark forces converge on the Temple, vying to control the throne.

Did You Know?

When Chosen of the Gods was released, the Wizards of the Coast website featured an interview with author Chris Pierson and some commentary from cover artist Marc Fishman. There also appeared the Ancient Krynn series of web articles by author John Grubber, a truly monumental effort which contributed a great deal of depth to Krynn and to Pierson’s trilogy. These articles have been helpfully collected on Grubber’s own Ancient Krynn website, and have also been compiled into a sourcebook here on the Nexus: Ancient Krynn.
