The following is the privacy policy for the Dragonlance Nexus (dlnexus.com). You will want to read it in order to understand what information we collect and what we do with that information.
Document Last Revised: June 1, 2004
For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the visitor’s domain name, but not the e-mail address. Our web server also logs your user’s browser type and version, operating system and IP address.
We collect only the domain name, but not the e-mail address of visitors to our Web page. However, we do collect the e-mail addresses of those who post messages to our bulletin board, those who communicate with us via e-mail or by completing one of the forms on our site, those who make postings to our chat areas, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by the user, such as survey information and/or site registrations. We do not and will not release or sell your email address to third parties.
The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, and is used to improve the content of our Web page, to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor and to notify users about updates to our Web site. We do not share any of this information with other organizations for commercial purposes.
We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record session information, record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, and customize Web page content based on visitors’ browser type or other information that the visitor sends.
We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies, although we do occasionally run ads from outside servers. As a result of your visit to our site, ad server companies may collect information such as your domain type, your IP address, and/or clickstream information.
From time to time, we may use user information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.
Upon request, we provide site visitors with access to unique identifier information (e.g. user number or password) that we maintain about them and a description of information that we maintain about them.
Consumers can access this information by contacting the webmaster via a ‘Contact Us’ form.
The Dragonlance Nexus reserves the right to make changes to this policy at any time.
