WotC Announces 2014 Dragonlance Product Schedule!

Renton, WA – Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc., has announced that it plans to bring back the world of Dragonlance, made famous by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman’s Chronicles trilogy, in a series of novels as well as the return of the Dragonlance role-playing game.

Dragons of a New Hope (May 2014)

A young squire quests for knighthood under the tutelage of his mentor, and with the help of a new band of companions. Together, they enter the hidden fortress of an evil Knight of Neraka.

Pirates of the Desolation: Curse of the Wind Chaser (July 2014)

Rig Mer-Krel returns in a tale of truth, betrayal, youth, demise – and dragons! Specifically, a really big dragon. Like, she’s huge. Can Rig find his ship, the Wind Dancer? And why is he looking in the Desolation, anyway?

Dragonlance: Fifth Age 13th Age Adventure Game (August 2014)

In partnership with Pelgraine Press, Wizards of the Coast brings back the Fifth Age Adventure Game, this time using the 13th Age rules. The Dragonlance: Fifth Age 13th Age Adventure Game introduces the new Escalation Deck mechanic. What’s your One Unique Thing?

Agents of S.T.E.E.L. (September 2014)

S.T.E.E.L. (Stategic Tactical Enforcement and Espionage Legion) is a covert organization trying to put an end to the evils of the world before they begin. Weaving through a web of espionage and intrigue, the cell, under the command of Phillip uth Coleson, is hot on the trail of the Clairsentient. Skye (the totally hot agent, not the dragon Skie) uses the power of the gnomish Webnet to discover the Clairsentient’s real identity – Tauren Kai-Jere. You spoilerific jerk.

Matthew L. Martin brings his various views on Dragonlance continuity to the written page as he brings together the forks of the River of Time into a new continuity. The end result was something nobody expected – a return to mainstream continuity!

Flyball Chronicles Vol. 2: Doggies of Winter Night (January 2015)

Margaret Weis returns to the world of Dragonlance with part 2 of a new alternate timeline, where dogs take the place of the Dragonlance characters we know and love. As the DoggyArmies press their advantage, the heroes go fetch an ancient artifact – the flyball. Will the Canine Companions make it in time? And to which bitch will Terrier Half-Barkin’ give a dam?
