Palanthas – Senators sidestepped questions Bakukal about the recent Imperial spy scandal that lead to the exile of the spies. They also refused to comment on the recent Knighthood speech.

The Senate declined to say whether Master Warrior Chavez, a hawkish Solamnic Knight, was accurate in his assumptions. When asked whether the Senate would increase the size of the City Watch, as suggested by prominent Guild Masters, a Senate spokesperson stated, “We feel the City Watch performance is adequate and of sufficient size to protect the Cityhome and her citizens.”

The Senate also brushed aside questions about recent child slayings, which show that the city is not as safe as the Senate, wants to believe, the Herald reports. The Senate said instead that the recent child slayings where an aberration and the work of an evil person and would soon be brought to justice.
