A New Section
I’ve been busy moving a bunch of stuff from the old Nexus site to the new one. And guess what? A new section is born! Introducing the Geography and Maps sections!
This section is going to be for fan-made maps and all sorts of different articles on the geography of Krynn from both fans and game creators alike. This has been a lot of fun and there’s more to be moved over soon.
Moving Content…Decisions, Decisions
A few months back, I did some quick figuring on how long it would take to move everything over from the old site without hiring a database expert. I came up with 16 years.
At that point, I realized that something had to change. I needed to tackle this project differently.
After consulting the rest of the Whitestone Council, I decided the way to go was to port over only the best of Dragonlance. Truthfully, in my attempt to archive as much Dragonlance material as I could, I landed up becoming more of a hoarder. Yes, we had some gems on the site, but they got lost with all the clutter.
This realization has freed me and made me more excited than I have been in a long while. I want material on the Nexus to hold some sort of value. Does the material add to the Dragonlance fan experience?
